Privacy Policy

Safran relies on the values and ethics shared by all its collaborators.

In particular, the Group ensures that its activities are conducted

with respect for privacy and the protection of personal data (PDP)

in accordance with applicable local legislation.

WHAT IS THE CONCERNED PERSONAL DATA OF COLLABORATORS AND THIRD PARTY CONTACTS

(CLIENTS, SUPPLIERS, PARTNER, ETC.)?

It is the information collected by Safran in the context of its activities that makes

it possible to directly or indirectly identify actual individuals (surname, first

name, photo, identification number, e-mail address, fingerprint, …) and which is

processed (collection, organization, transmission, consultation…).

WHAT ARE THE RULES TO FOLLOW WHEN PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA?

The processing of personal data must be implemented according to the Group

GRP-0169 procedure “PDP management” which ensures compliance with the General

Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Every employee who carry out this processing operation must ensure the respect,

in particular, the following compulsory principles:

•Each company must be able to prove at any moment its compliance with the

GDPR (“Accountability”);

•The data is collected for a predetermined legitimate purpose, and is not used for

any other purpose (“lawful and legitimate purpose”);

•The data is strictly necessary to achieve the purpose (“proportionality”);

•The data is regularly updated and deleted when no longer required, with a limited

storage life;

•Processing operations must take into account, from the moment they are created,

the protection of the personal data concerned (“Privacy by Design”);

•The data is protected by technical and organizational measures which guarantee

its confidentiality and integrity;

•Potential data transfers intra Group and outside the European Union are subject

to the Safran “Binding Corporate Rules”;

•The law gives each individual rights over his own personal data: rights of access,

recovery, rectification, etc. As a result, Group companies must implement a system

that allows each individual to know and exercise their rights.
